The team took the plunge for a great local charity
Three members of Today Team have finally taken to the skies for their charity skydive for Warrington Disability Partnership. They had been waiting 2 years to take the plunge after it had been cancelled 4 times due to bad weather and the pandemic.
Jamie, our Managing Director said “It was fifth time lucky for me and the team and although we had our doubts on the way down to Tilstock Airfield, as the weather didn’t look great, we were really pleased when the sun came out and cleared the sky so we could jump. The team very kindly let me go first so I could get the jump done and get some breakfast down me, after the strict diet I had been on in the weeks leading up to the jump, so I made the weight limit. I’m really proud of them, having the courage to jump from 10,000 ft for a great charity in WDP.”
The team have raised £1405 so far for this worthy cause. If you would like to make a donation, please visit their Just Giving page.
